Yogurt Cucumber Raita

A side dish to temper down spicy heat & compliments any Indian Food.

My mom makes this simply delicious condiment to perfectly temper the heat of mouth watering spicy curries. Add a tablespoon or two of this condiment to the side of your dish and add to every bite. The flavors are just outstanding!!

Here is the recipe:
Use approximately 1 cup yogurt (plain, non-fat Stonyfield brand preferred), add salt taste along with the 1/4-1/2 cup of de-seeded cucumber (diced into small bits). That's it. 

There are of course more complex Raita's you can make with many more spices, but this simple and easy version is sure to delight you. It's one of my favorites.
