I saw Priya profiled in a newspaper article and decided to try her recipe. It was wonderful - scrumptious flavors and very easy to follow. It makes a lot of sauce that can be used with other proteins and veggies - a dish that keeps on giving! So glad I gave it a try.

I was taken by your ad that said I could adjust the spice level. I bought the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken mixes. I made the Tikka Masala for my husband, who cannot tolerate much heat, and made it without adding any jalapeño. He LOVED it. After dinner he came in and asked for a small bowl of rice with the sauce on it. He asked me to order more immediately! Thank you for making this spice mix so easily adaptable for people like my husband, who can’t enjoy spicy hot foods, but love the flavors of this dish. I think we are about to be regular customers! (PS—I enjoyed it as well!)

I read about this company in my local paper and was super excited to order some of the spice kits for my daughter’s birthday. She LOVES Indian food and makes it occasionally, but because the spice preparation can be daunting and ordering spices online can result in pounds of something you may not use in your lifetime, my daughter did not make her own very often. What a brilliant idea to sell spice packets for those of us who don’t want to buy a ton of exotic spices but want to cook our own Indian food! Oh - and the gift decoration was gorgeous. Very personal service. Highly recommend!

Just arrived back home in PGH from a 10 year retirement vacation in Sarasota, Fl. Tandoor was our go-to Indian restaurant in Sarasota and Butter Chicken was our favorite dish. Tonight we made Anar's Butter Chicken Seasoning Kit and it is phenomenal! Follow the receipe and tone down the spice and you'll be in for a real treat!

This chicken marinade is amazing! Marinate overnight is best and the chicken is crispy, moist, and so flavorful with just the right amount of heat! My whole family loves it - have only used chicken thighs, need to try with bone in, skin on chicken breast too!

I don’t like playing by the rules hence I decided to make a classic from the Hyderabadi cuisine - Bagara Baingan ( tempered eggplants) and my world did that taste yumm .. I used this spice and it blew life into the eggplant . Love these blends from Anar ..!!!

I can bake and I can microwave. I cannot cook. Strike that. I can now cook. Anar seasoning packs make it easy easy easy - and they are delicious delicious delicious!! Originally purchased to support Anar Gourmet Foods because it is a woman-owned business. Now I buy so I can easily prepare healthy meals... and so I can now say I can cook!!
While I already have Indian spices at home and cook my own dishes, these spice packs are so convenient, especially if you quickly marinate the meat and pop it in the fridge overnight so it reduces cook time the day after - great for a busy week night. Not to mention the food is incredibly DELICIOUS! I love the Butter Chicken version - so much tastier than what you typically receive in a regular Indian restaurant. Also, if you're traveling or doing the Airbnb thing, it's so convenient to grab a few packs to make amazing dinners while away from home.

My wife and I met you as you were setting up at Market District on Sunday morning. We purchased one of all the seasoning kits you had there.
Marcie made the Chicken Tikka Masala over basmati for dinner on Monday. It was delicious! We are so happy we ran into you and purchased your products. We are anxious to try the others.
As you indicated it makes a plentiful amount so we have enough for leftovers. Also we had extra sauce so the next day for dinner I simmered wild shrimp in the sauce and served it over mashed butternut and sweet potatoes. That too was very good.
