I met Priya at the Home and Garden show in Pittsburgh. She is a lovely and kind person. She had a lot of great tips for cooking with spices that I'm not familar with. The spice packets are accessible to beginners and (most importantly) SO DELICIOUS. They were so delicious that I had to order more packets when I ran out of the ones I bought. The shipping was very fast and it came with a note from Priya with more tips on how to prepare the dishes. It's obvious to me that this company is ran with so much love. I can't wait to try the chickpea curry, dhal soup, and potato curry. The spice packets make meal prepping for work so easy (but it also makes waiting for lunch time so hard!). I will order again.

For Mothers Day I received a beaufully wrapped box(complete with a rose decoration on top). Inside were packages of Anar spices. Some of these we had ordered previously but there was one new one that really piqued my interest. First time trying the spicy beef curry and it was delicious!

A wonderful time was had last night with co-workers, clients and friends thanks to Priya and Anar Gourmet Food's easy and delicious Chicken Tikka Masala. We had a virtual get-together and made coconut rice (mine came out great even though it was missing the coconut part, thanks to team coaching from Priya and the group), learned how to make an authentic Asian condiment and heard some background stories about Anar Gourmet. It was fun, tasty and I'm so grateful to Priya for her patience and for the leftovers I have today!

My wife and I took Priya's class to learn to make chicken tikka masala, and we had a wonderful time learning her family's recipe and new ways of cooking Indian food. We have been wanting to learn to cook some of our favorite Indian dishes, and Priya made it easy for us to follow along with step-by-step instructions for marinating the chicken, blooming the spices, and preparing the coconut rice. She was very encouraging and shared tips for modifying the recipes to make them vegetarian or dairy- and gluten-free. We highly recommend her class and her spices!

The class itself was so fun. Priya is very friendly, funny, and keeps it low stress so we weren't feeling rushed or like we were doing anything wrong. We bought all of the fresh ingredients based on the list she sent, and used the spices she sent to us (which she said she makes herself)! It was so good. We made chicken tiki masala, keema, and saag paneer, and coconut rice. We were supposed to make a little dessert with puffy rice but we forgot to buy the actual puffy rice, so she just showed us how to make it.

I cannot recommend the class more. Thank you Priya!

I just tried the Potato Curry and it was seriously fantastic. The instructions were super clear and easy to follow, which made cooking it really simple even after a long day. The flavor was so good — rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced without being too heavy. I followed their tip to crack an egg into the dish at the end and let it cook, and it turned the meal into something even more special. It felt like something I would order at a restaurant, but it came together quickly at home. Plus, I have leftovers for tomorrow, so I get to enjoy it all over again. Highly recommend if you're looking for an easy and delicious meal!

I've wanted to write this review for a while (kept thinking I would video me cooking it - Ha Ha!way! First of all, Anar's spices and seasoning kits have to be the freshest seasonings I've ever bought. Second, the preparation is incredibly easy--you can even look at their videos and get step-by-step instructions!
This company is great--I placed my order and the shipment came in so fast I barely had time to blink. Then I ordered curry powder for my husband as a special treat and he immediately could tell the difference between the usual kind and this one!
If you want to take your food to the next level, I highly recommend Anar Gourmet's spices and seasoning kits! This is my new go-to! (AND they do gift baskets!!!)

Decided to make the potato curry w/ some seared chuck pot-roast & cheesy naan - the outcome took me back to authentic Indian Dishes while traveling throughout Asia (yum)! Would highly recommend and be a repeat costumer!

In our journey to discover other cultural dishes, my husband and I bought 4 different varieties of the Anar mixes...we tried the Chickpea Curry (added some chicken) last night. It was incredible! Now we can't wait to try the others! LOVE that it is women owned!!!

Loved this recipe, really flavorful and just the right amount of spice.

A while back, I ordered two Anar Gourmet Foods gift packages, one for a friend and one for myself. The gift packages each contained 3 family sized gourmet seasoning mixes. They were so prettily wrapped--my friend was delighted to receive hers and I was so glad I had ordered an extra one for myself. Last night my husband and I enjoyed the delicious Chicken Tikki Masala. I heeded Prija's advice to marinate the chicken in yogurt sauce overnight, and chose the coconut milk option, rather than whipping cream. The result: magnificent! The dish had a wonderful, bright taste--layers of flavor and a nice bit of spice! I would never have taken the time to round up all of the individual ingredients I would have needed to prepare this on my own. The convenient seasoning packets made magic happen in my kitchen! Thank you for a delicious and easy-to-use product. (P.S. Earlier, I made the Ground beef/Keema---soooo good--and the Chickpea curry and both my husband and I loved those too!)

I made the chickpea curry for dinner the other night using a whole large jalapeño pepper (seeded), accompanied by basmati rice, a Persian cucumber salad, and roasted cauliflower with everything bagel seasoning. It was so good! The package states that it served 4 but I think it would easily feed 6.

Took me a while to make the lamb curry, but it was worth the wait! We all thought it was delicious, served with basmati rice and seasoned green beans. Having made some other dishes using the seasoning packets I decided to add about 1 T. Minced garlic & 1 large jalapeño minced. It was still medium spicy. I will be making this again soon. Sorry for the lack of a photo, but it was hectic prepping dinner one place and transporting it somewhere else to enjoy.

Each year I host my tennis team and they always request Indian food (because they don’t know how to make it) and I order extra packets and make a buffet of my favorite Anar Spice packet meals! Easy peasy with rice and naan!

We met this lovely family (pre-COVID) at a Food and Wine Festival in DC. We bought several packets- and for a while had only had the Beef Keema…because we loved it, it became a staple. Tonight we tried the Butter Chicken and OMG!!! So amazing! While we were cooking, we just kept saying “If it is as good as it smells, it will be nirvana”…and sure enough…WOW!!! We love Lentil Soup very much. We have Dhal with Rice, vegetable fry, Egg Omelette or Papads. It’s not only so very delicious, but also rich in proteins and has other nutritional values. We love the Lentil Seasoning kit because it comes with almost all the ingredients plus the instructions. Thanks Priya for making it very easy to make Lentil Soup which we love very much.
