I purchased Anar's virtual cooking class as a special birthday gift for my husband. He loves Indian food and I've never felt confident enough to make it at home. The entire experience was beyond exceptional, from the moment we received the purchased space packets in a beautifully packed box (with a custom birthday note to my husband) to the experience of cooking together in the virtual class with our warm and supportive guide. My husband has allergies to both dairy and gluten and Priya from Anar was able to customize the recipes for the class to meet his needs. She encouraged us each step of the way so now I no longer feel intimidated by Indian cooking! My husband is thrilled because now I have several Indian recipes I can make at home using the accessible and delicious Anar spice packs. I highly recommend the virtual classes because they are special, really fun, and a great way to build confidence with using the spice packets. We are now customers for life!
I bought this class for my mom for Christmas and it was the perfect gift! We live in different states and we both love to cook, so this was a great way to do something fun "together". Priya was an engaging and considerate teacher, and the food was spectacular. I was secretly hoping to "accidentally" make it too spicy for my husband so I wouldn't have to share, but no dice, he loves it too. An excellent experience!

We were so surprised when our very picky eater fell in love with this spice packet. He requests it a few times a week and we are not complaining. It’s got wonderful flavors without being spicy 🌶️. Potato curry is amazing, as are all the other kits we’ve tried. We initially tried the keema at the home show in Pittsburgh, my husband would never try Indian food before.
